The Church is almost done & Lunch is back!

The church restoration is 95% finished. Thank you to everyone who has worked so diligently for the last 10 months on restoring our beloved church building! And on October 1st, lunch is returning!

That week will be POT LUCK, so come see the beautiful new flooring in the kitchen and enjoy the good food and fellowship!

Blessing the Animals 2023

It's that time again, when we celebrate Saint Francis of Assisi and his love of all creatures by blessing our beloved animals. This year Father Bryan will be blessing our nonhuman family members on October 1st, 2023 after the service. More details will follow as the date gets closer.

All pets are welcome, even the ones who forget their manners when out in public. If, for some reason, you can't get your pet to the church, you can always bring a picture, even a digital one. So get that appointment in with the groomer, or do a refresher on sit, and get ready for a barking good time!

Welcome to the Book of Common Prayer

A long awaited and much requested Christian Formation Class is coming soon.

On September 24th at 9:30 am, we will be starting a class on the Book of Common Prayer. If you've ever wondered what else is in there, need a refresher, or just why we do certain things, this is the class for you! We will be using the book "Welcome to the Book of Common Prayer" by Vicki K. Black.

From Goodreads (this link will take you to the Goodreads page for the book, you can find multiple ways to purchase the book by clicking on the arrow next to the Kindle price):
"A guide to a deeper understanding and richer relationship to the Book of Common Prayer, and a more profound faith. In this guide for newcomers as well as lifelong Episcopalians, author Vicki Black helps readers navigate the currents of Anglican liturgy and discover its richness and beauty. As we use the Book of Common Prayer, Black says, “we discover we are not alone, and this liturgical current of worship, prayer, and praise will indeed take us where we want to go–union with the God we seek to love.” Welcome to the Book of Common Prayer shows readers everything from where to find the Sunday collect to how to pray the Daily Office. But it’s more than a how-to. It offers history and background that help make the prayer book a more meaningful part of the worship life of individuals and congregations."
